Customer Accounts Administrator

Part-Time | Monday to Friday | School-Hours Friendly | Cheadle Hulme

Looking for a part-time role that fits around family life, without giving up responsibility and variety?

We are looking for an organised and friendly Customer Accounts Administrator to join the team at Amshire Solutions in Cheadle Hulme.

You will help keep the day-to-day customer and sales side of the business running smoothly, from dealing with customer enquiries and preparing quotations through to processing orders, managing renewals and liaising with suppliers.

This is a varied role where attention to detail matters. Just as importantly, we want someone who enjoys helping people and takes pride in getting things done properly.

Hours that can work around family life

This is a Monday to Friday, part-time position of approximately 25 to 27.5 hours per week.

The typical working pattern is around 09:00 to 14:30, although we are happy to discuss some flexibility around school drop-off and collection times for the right person.

The position is based at our office in Cheadle Hulme.

What you will be doing

  • Responding to customer, sales and account enquiries
  • Preparing and processing quotations and customer orders
  • Keeping track of renewals and making sure nothing gets missed
  • Raising purchase orders and liaising with suppliers
  • Keeping customers updated on orders and deliveries
  • Helping to manage equipment purchases, returns and warranty claims
  • Maintaining accurate records, processes and documentation
  • Supporting the wider Amshire team with day-to-day administration

Who this role would suit

You do not need to be an IT expert.

We are much more interested in finding someone who is:

  • Organised and good at keeping on top of several things at once
  • Accurate, conscientious and attentive to detail
  • Friendly and confident when speaking with customers and suppliers
  • Comfortable using Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Able to work independently while enjoying being part of a small team
  • Willing to spot when something does not look right and take the initiative to resolve it

Previous experience in office administration or customer service would be particularly useful. Experience of CRM, quoting or purchasing systems would also be helpful, but is not essential.

Why join Amshire

You will not just be another person in a large office.

Amshire is a growing, family-run IT company based in Cheadle Hulme. We work with businesses across the North West, helping them get more from their technology and providing the support they rely on every day.
